The Josephjne County EMPTY BOWLS AFFAIR brings another call for bowls or any and all clay art pieces. You are invited to call Roxanne (541-479-1349) for pick up or to deliver your donations to Ellen Johnson/Sarah Small at Options, 1215 SW G St, Grants Pass, OR 97526, (476-2373) during business hours.

All clayfolk’s Empty Bowls fund raisersfunds feed the hungry and help people experiencing food insecurity in our communities. The basic premise of Empty Bowls is simple: Potters and other craftspeople, educators and community members work with the community to create handcrafted bowls and other silent auction Items. Attendees have the pleasure of selecting a bowl from hundreds of one-of-a-kind hand-crafted bowls donated by Grants Pass area artists and Options’ clients. Guests are invited to a meal of soup and bread. In exchange for a $30 donation, guests are invited to chose and keep a bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in our community.

The 12th Annual Empty Bowls will be held on October 8th, 2018 at Parkway Christian Center, 229 NE Beacon Drive in Grants Pass, Oregon. . Doors will open at 5:45 PM with service starting at 6:00 PM.
