The Clayfolk Show & Sale is Nov. 17 – 19th at the Medford Armory. Check out the event schedule, demos offered, children’s clay corner times and most of all….who will be selling at this year’s show!
The Clayfolk Show & Sale is the Southern Oregon Potters’ Association annual signature event. The event features a variety of functional, sculptural and whimsical work by more than 65 member artists from across Oregon and northern California. The Clayfolk Show & Sale is the largest of its kind in southern Oregon.
Location
We’re back at the Medford Armory! 1701 S Pacific Hwy
Medford, OR 97501
Schedule
Friday, November 17th: 4 – 9 p.m.
Artist sales – The show opens with live music and light refreshments. This is opening night and a time to view and purchase from the artist’s full inventory of work.
Special Friday night shuttle
Since Friday night is extremely popular and we frequently run out of parking at the Armory, you will be able to park in the Walmart parking lot at 1360 Center Drive, and take a trolley shuttle to the Armory. All Aboard Trolley will be picking people up from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. every 15 minutes. Look for the tent with balloons and the shuttle sign for the pick-up point.
Clayfolk potters are welcome to take bowls and other clay donations to Ellen Johnson at Options which is located at 1215 SW G St, Grants Pass, OR 97526. They are open during normal business hours five days a week. Another way to donate is to bring bowls to meetings or give at our Clayfolk show in November. Another is to call or email Roxanne Hunnicutt, Josephine County Empty Bowls chair. She can be reached at (541) 479-1349 or roxhun@gmail.com.
Also, potters are encouraged to attend the dinner. The soups are great, but truly, the opportunity of see community members choosing from the wealth of bowls and then coveting the bowls they take home is really the highlight! Your ticket also helps to feed the hungry in our county. And Josephine County has a great deal of food uncertainty. We need your help.
