Wheel throwing, various hand building techniques, and sculpture low fire decorative glazing – stoneware glazes

Classes are structured to teach beginners the basics, advanced students specific areas of focus.

No experience required.

CLASS SIZE:  1-4 participants

Teaches wheel throwing and slab hand building, clay stamp making, cone 6.

Teaching by request. Private lessons or workshops.

INSTRUCTOR: Carmen Proffitt

Class description: Wheel 1 – “Introduction to the Potter’s Wheel” (Teen option and 18+ option) and Wheel 2 – “Wheel Practice and Advanced Techniques”. Intro to Wheel is great for folks with little to no wheel experience, and Wheel Practice is great for those who know the basics and want to hone their skills even further!
