Honorariums

Honorariums for Clayfolk Show Volunteers

Clayfolk pays an honorarium to the members who put in the most work to make the show a success.  An honorarium is defined as a payment made without the giver recognizing himself as having any liability or legal obligation made to a person for his or her services in a volunteer capacity or for services for which fees are not traditionally required.  Originally the honorariums were a percentage of the show income but the board capped it in December of 2016.

The current honorariums are:

  • Show Chair  $1000
  • Treasurer  $1000
  • Advertisement $250
  • Publicity  $250
