I began working with clay at the age of ten, drawn to the simple satisfaction of shaping something with my hands. What started as curiosity gradually became a lifelong craft. Over the years ceramics gave me not only a creative outlet, but also a way to support my family and build a life around making.

My work eventually expanded into large-scale ceramic production, where I spent many years developing molds, building kilns, and managing high-volume manufacturing. That experience deepened my understanding of the technical side of the material while reinforcing the importance of good design and careful craftsmanship.

Today my focus has returned to the quieter side of the studio. I aim to create the most refined, classic pieces I am capable of, while sharing the knowledge I’ve gained over decades with the next generation. Ceramics is an ancient and enduring craft, and I feel fortunate to still be learning from it and contributing to its continuation.
