Welcome to the 2014 39th Annual Clayfolk Show and Sale. The show will be held at the Medford Armory on November 21st through the 23rd. Over 65 artists will show their wares. For a complete listing of the artists and their booth locations at the show, click on this LINK.
As the show is only a few weeks before the holidays, this is the perfect place to pick out gifts. From large to small, functional to sculptural, for the home or garden - there will be something for everyone at the show. Baskets will be provided to help carry out treasures, and a number of holding tables will be placed throughout the show to hold pieces too large to carry.
The show opens on Friday the 21st at 4PM. Live music will be played and light refreshments will be available. Saturday and Sunday there will be a supervised Kids Clay area where participating artists will share their love and knowledge with kids of all ages. The Kids Clay area will be open from 10AM to 5PM on Saturday and from 11AM to 3PM on Sunday This was a great chance to see if there is a budding ceramic artist just waiting to express themselves in clay!
New this year ! Potter-lead guided tours on Sunday the 23rd ...
- The first tour starts at 1PM and will explore different Surface Techniques such as wood fired, raku, ash, crystal, slips, underglaze, and carving.
- The second tour starts at 2PM and will explore Yard Art and Animal Themes.

Saturday and Sunday also provide visitors the opportunity to watch participating artists demonstrate various techniques such as hand building, throwing and sculpting. This is a wonderful chance to ask questions, take notes, and enjoy watching the creative process.
