BIG NEWS FROM RANDY AND RHONDA You know them as Southern Oregon Clay Distributors. The editor of this paper has learned that they now have a big price break on clay when you buy 500 lbs or more. And six clay bodies are on sale at 15% off retail. Furthermore, they are carrying Quyle Sandstone Buff, a cone 10 clay that is fantastic for throwing, good at cone 6, and is very reasonably priced. It has a little tooth and fires to a warm tan. They have also become distributors for Kemper tools and have a large stock on hand. Buy local! Support these great people and keep our suppliers close by. www.southernoregonclaydistributors.com 541-535-1311 MAY PROGRAM : ETSY Have you considered selling your work on line? The May program, presented by Clayfolk member Teri Nelson, will help you get started. Teri will be presenting a program on Etsy, an on-line website which many artists use to sell their work. She will share her experience with Etsy, providing information on setting up an account, navigating the site, and explaining how you, too, can bring your artwork to the attention of buyers. If you're curious about the type of ceramic products sold on-line, how much money other artists are asking for their work, and the amount artists charge for shipping their ware, Etsy is a terrific resource.
