GENERAL MEETING SUNDAY - MAY 21 The May 21st meeting will be at 2:30 PM at 1201 West Jones Creek Road, Grants, OR 97526. The afternoon will offer two firings, both after the meeting. Bring pottery for the pit and/or raku firings. Bisque the pots low, about Cone 015. Burnished pots will work well for the pit firing. Shirley gave out detailed instructions and recipes at the last meeting. Bring potluck items; the firings may take a couple of hours. The pit-fired pots will not be removed from the pit until the next day, If you plan to participate in firings, please e-mail pigpenpots@aol.com to confirm, so that the Huft’s will know approximately how many pots will need to be fired. And you might also want to bring a chair, although the Huft’s have seating for about 30.
