Once again, the 2011 Clayfolk Annual Show and Sale was a huge success. A large number of new folks attended the Show along with our faithful returning clientele. In an effort to “Go Green,” front door greeters encouraged both new and returning attendees to sign up for an on-line e-postcard notification. The Sunday drawing went well with the hourly winners enjoying a $25 discount on their purchases. Guy Wood did an amazing job photographing pottery using the Clayfolk photo cube as well as taking pictures during the Show. The Show Chairs did an exceptional job making the Show run smoothly, and all our potters toiled away on committees and work shifts as well as producing an outstanding amount of gorgeous pottery. After three years of guiding Clayfolk, our Show Chair, Debora Mahannah, stepped down and passed the torch to Jim Keith. We are all grateful for the wonderful effort Debora put in on the behalf of all the clay artists and she will be missed.
