Glaze Study Group is an informal monthly meeting of new and experienced potters
who are interested in sharing their knowledge of glazes. Topics of study are selected by the group. In the past,
areas explored have been crystalline glazes, Currie grid testing, converting cone 10 glazes to cone 6, solving
glaze defects, testing glazes with different firing schedules, slides of pottery and pottery making overseas, as
well as glazing test tiles to fire at home. Interested potters meet the second Tuesday of each month Locations for meetings vary. Contact the Glaze Study Coordinator for more information.
